At Melody Hear For You, we understand that for many people, especially those who have never used hearing aids before, it can be confusing trying to make a decision regarding what hearing aids to buy. Most hearing aids providers are only familiar with a couple of brands they sell, and you may miss out on a brand that has a unique feature designed for your hearing loss or lifestyle if you don’t seek independent advice. 

We have spent extensive efforts and time studying and comparing different hearing aid features, trying out the latest hearing aid with the product specialists of different hearing aid manufacturers, and we also receive feedback from clients who have been fitted with hearing aids of various brands. In addition, we do not sell hearing aids, so our advice and recommendations are truly independent. We’re familiar with GNResound, Starkey, Phonak, Signia, Bernafon, Widex, Oticon and Unitron hearing aids and some major OTC hearing aid brands.

At a face-to-face Personalised Hearing Aids Advice appointment, we also perform the QuickSIN test (a valuable but significantly underused speech-in-noise test). This test provides a quick way for us to quantify your ability to hear in noise, determine whether extended high-frequency emphasis improves or degrades speech understanding in noisy environments, and assists us in recommending the appropriate level of hearing aid technologies and other assistive technologies for you.

Please send a booking request online and select your preferred time and fill in your details, your booking request will be sent for approval. Once your booking request is approved, your appointment is booked and an invoice will be sent to you via email or SMS. If you can fill out the online questionnaire sent to you via email or SMS and attach your hearing test results (if you have any) before the appointment, it will help us to prepare for your appointment and provide the most appropriate advice to you. 

For face-to-face Personalised Hearing Aids Advice appointments, we will aim to arrive within 30mins of the booked appointment time due to the home visit nature. For a Tele-audiology Hearing Aids Advice appointment, please join the link sent to you via email or SMS at the appointment time. 

During the appointment, we will discuss what level of hearing aids technology and what style of hearing aids and accessories may be suitable for you. We can show you dummy hearing aids (hearing aids that look the same as the real ones) of a particular brand and what they look like when they’re in the ears. You can ask questions regarding hearing aids or amplification devices of your interests because the purpose of this appointment is to help you to navigate the maze of hearing aids selection.

To remain our impartiality, we do not recommend one particular brand over another, but if any particular brand has a unique feature that is suitable for you, we will certainly mention that.

After the appointment, a summary of the discussion and any relevant supporting materials will be provided to you through email. 

$160 per Face to Face Hearing Aid Advice appointment. $100 per Tele-audiology Hearing Aid Advice appointment. 

If Hearing Test for Adults ($150) and Face to Face Hearing Aids Advice ($130) appointment are combined, an $80 discount will be offered and the total price is $200

Please complete the payment at least 24 hours before the appointment by credit card (sub-charge applies) or direct bank transfer as specified on your invoice. If due to unforeseen circumstances we need to cancel your appointment, a full refund will be provided.
